What a mesmerizing play from Aarav Sarbalia, a FIDE-rated chess player from Kings’ Chess Academy, the leading chess academy for kids in India. Aarav represented India in the Asian Schools Rapid Chess Championship 2022 organized by the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka in Waskaduwa, Sri Lanka.
Aarav played in the under-9 category and every bit of playing from him was worth watching. His strategies were brilliant and it shows his confidence in chess. Aarav has been felicitated with a Gold medal.
Aarav is having an international rating of 1333 and he is only 9 years old. Kakavand Ramtin(IRI) got 2nd position and Mukanov Iskender(KGZ) got 3rd position in the same category. We wish him the best of luck in his future tournaments.
