A casual victory by 9 years old Vidhu, a young boy from the academy

Vidhu Thota, a young and energetic 9 years old boy recently played in the Y Not Try – Children’s Chess Tournament organized by Y Not Try at VK Sports, Bangalore. The tournament was under the All India Chess Federation (AICF) with 7 rounds in the tournament.

Vidhu played very well with a promising future ahead. His strategies were very thoughtful and he deserves the victory. Vidhu got the first position and acclamations from others around. He scored 6.5 rating out of 7. The tournament was provisioned with few players with less ratings.

Vidhu has been trained by dedicated coaches from Kings’ Chess Academy, a leading chess academy in India for kids. We wish him the best of luck for this future tournaments.
