Aarav Sarbalia (1458) from Karnataka has been unstoppable and finished his golden run by winning the silver medal in the MPL 35th National Under-9 Championships organized by MP Chess Ad-Hoc Committee All India Chess Federation. The tournament comes under the All India Chess Federation. It was held at Indore Public School, Rajendra Nagar, Indore.
Aarav got quite a comfortable edge out of the opening however it was not easy to get the breakthrough by defeating other players. He has scored 10 out of 11 points with two draws and remained unbeaten!
Another great achievement comes as he will be representing India in the upcoming Asian & World Youth Championships. We heartily congratulate his parents and his coach Mr. Srinath Rao who guided him dedicatedly to his path in chess.
We wish him the best of luck in his upcoming tournaments. For more information visit the link at http://chess-results.com/tnr708938.aspx?lan=1&art=1&rd=11.
